Why participate in the EPTC?  Because you’ll get competitive matchplay in a small-town atmosphere free of distraction and stress–yet with just the right amount of live crowd pressure to help prep for the U.S. Open. You’ll be looked after by both EPTC staff and the Emkey family, through homecooked meals and plain old TLC. It’ll feel like you never left home.

The Emkey Tennis Garden hardcourt plays similarly to the hardcourts in Flushing Meadows, making the event superb practice for the Open. The EPTC’s round-robin format guarantees that participants will play at least three matches in a competitive and high-level environment, which is a big advantage over a potential early-round loss at Cincinnati. Win or lose, the EPTC continues to give you match experience, regardless.
